Howard has been a member of the Law Society of NSW for many years and has previously sat on the Anti-Discrimination Committee, the Public Law Committee and the Human Rights Committee. He currently sits on the Government Lawyers Committee. Howard is strongly committed to mentoring young and more junior lawyers and has served as a mentor on the Young Lawyers Mentoring Program and has actively promoted the benefits of mentoring in relation to nurturing and growing the legal profession in NSW.
